1350 series non greaseable center yoke Pulled the shaft yesterday to inspect it and it seemed like it was still well greased. How to remove a centering ball in a double cardan joint?
Btw, As An Update To This Thread I Replaced My 1310 Double Cardan Centering Ball With A Spicer Sealed Unit Ordered From Denny's Driveshaft About 6 Months Ago And Have Not Had To Mess With It Since.
I was using a needle point grease gun tip to inject grease into the front drive shaft cv joint [double cardan joint] to lubricate the centering ball on my 1985 k5 blazer. I replaced mine on one cv once, and it still did it. Most (if not all) newer zjs use a cv joint in the front axle end of the ds.
